To the left of this text is a picture of me using the camera for our film. Obviously, without this piece of equipment, our project would not go ahead, and at the end of the project I has learnt how to use it efficiently. Even thought I was no the cameraman, I still gathered an understanding of how to use by either watching Rebecca do it, or from doing it in the final project or even the preliminary task.
The tripod also helped us to film our project an awful lot, as it helped us to get a steady camera, and to rotate the camera with ease. The tripod is quite simple to use, but I thought it would still help to get a good understanding of how it works, along with the camera.
To the right of this text, is evidence of me using our editing software, which was Adobe Premier. We found this quite hard to use when we did our preliminary task, but we had improved it much more for our final project. We also used many different effects, and one of the main ones we frequently used was a fade, and this helped to add tension in the title sequence.
This project helped me to get a much better understanding of how Adobe Premier worked, and the equipment that we needed to film the project. We also used other programmes on the computer to complete our project, such as YouTube for feedback, and adobe Photoshop to create the Production Company logo. We also psoted the video from Youtube onto Facebook, as we wanted our friends to see what we had been doing, and gives us some feedback on it.
I used 'Youtube' for getting feedback on my Horror film, and also to add notes to, so I could show my audience about why I used each conventions.
We used Photoshop to make the Production Company Logo of our films, and this tought me how to actually use the software. This also showed me how to make a logo that suits my specific genre.
We used 'Blogger' to obviously add our blog posts. Before this, i had never created a blog in my life, so it taught me how to create blogs, and hows to use them appropriatley.
